HULAMIN SUPPLY NOT AFFECTED BY BHP BILLITON BAYSIDE POWER REDUCTION INITIATIVES
BHP Billiton announced on 11 March 2008 that it plans to take the bulk of its South African power reduction at Bayside which may include a possible closure of operations of the B and C potlines at Bayside.
BHP Billiton has confirmed that it will continue to meet Hulamin's metal requirement in line with the existing agreement.
